Dilini

Introducing our Centre Director

Dilini Amarasinghe

At Woodville Little Learners, we believe every child is capable, confident and full of potential. We are committed to creating a warm, safe and inclusive environment where every child feels a strong sense of belonging, security and respect.

Our educational program is inspired by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and guided by children’s interests, strengths and individual learning journeys. We believe children learn best through meaningful play, exploration, curiosity and positive relationships. Our educators intentionally create engaging experiences that encourage children to become confident learners, effective communicators and kind, respectful members of their community.

Our Centre Director, Dilini Amarasinghe, brings over seven years of experience in the early childhood education sector. Having worked as an Educator, Room Leader, Educational Leader, Assistant Director and now Centre Director, Dilini is passionate about creating high-quality learning environments where children thrive, families feel supported and educators are empowered to grow professionally. Her leadership is built on strong relationships, reflective practice, continuous improvement and a genuine commitment to achieving the best outcomes for every child.

At Woodville Little Learners, we believe quality early learning begins with strong leadership, knowledgeable educators and genuine partnerships with families. We value every family’s unique culture, traditions and aspirations for their child. By working together through open communication and mutual respect, we create meaningful learning experiences that support each child’s development and wellbeing.

Our educators are committed to continuous professional learning and reflective practice, ensuring we continually improve our programs and teaching to meet the changing needs of children, families and our community. We celebrate diversity, promote inclusion and foster an environment where every child is encouraged to explore, discover, create and thrive.

Under Dilini’s leadership, our vision is to build a centre where children develop confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of learning, families feel welcomed and connected, and educators are inspired to provide the highest standard of education and care every day.

At Woodville Little Learners, our goal is not only to prepare children for school but to inspire a lifelong love of learning. We strive to nurture resilient, compassionate and confident children who are equipped with the skills, knowledge and curiosity to succeed in an ever-changing world.

Together, we are building a community where children feel valued, families feel connected and learning is celebrated every day.
